GNP Mexican Auto Insurance
GNP offers a variety of auto insurance packages designed to provide essential protection and maximize value:
Liability Coverages – These coverages are offered with a Liability Only policy
Liability coverage is legally required in Mexico and pays for damages to person(s) and vehicle(s) involved in an accident you cause, up to the liability limit.

Civil Liability:
Limits of $300K or $500K with a premium policy.

Medical Payments:
Limits of $10,000 per person / $50,000 per accident to cover medical payments for the driver and the passengers resulting from an accident. Excludes motorcycles, ATV’s, and UTV’s.

Legal Assistance:
Guaranteed bail and legal assistance, up to the liability limit you chose on the Mexico tourist auto insurance policy.
Physical Damage Coverages

Physical Damage:
Covers damages to your vehicle from a collision, up to the insured amount on your policy or the actual cash value of the vehicle, whichever is less. We suggest you use the Kelly Blue Book or NADA Guide to help you determine your vehicle value.

Total Theft:
Provides coverage if your car is stolen (total theft), up to the insured amount on your policy, or the actual cash value of your vehicle, whichever is less. Like with physical damage, you should use tools like the Kelly Blue Book or NADA Guide to help determine your vehicle value.

Partial Theft:
Covers theft of parts and/or accessories that are permanently attached to the vehicle, excluding video and sound reproducing equipment, personal property, or objects contained in the vehicle. Partial theft coverage is not included in the Standard policies.

Vandalism:
Vandalism provides coverage when your car is deliberately vandalized, up to the insured amount you chose or the actual cash value of your vehicle, whichever is less. This coverage is not included with the Standard policies.

Uninsured Motorist Deductible Waiver:
When an uninsured motorist causes an accident, this coverage protects you up to the insured amount you chose or the actual cash value of your vehicle, whichever is less. There is no deductible applied under this coverage. This coverage is not available on the Standard Policies.

Increased Labor Rates:
The insurer will pay increased labor costs, up to $100 per hour for all vehicle types. Not available on Standard Policies.

Gap Coverage:
On a covered total loss or total theft, this will pay the difference between the actual cash value (ACV) of your vehicle and what you owe on the vehicle lease or loan, up to 15% above the vehicle’s actual cash value. The physical damage or theft deductible will still apply. Not included with Standard policies.

- Claims must be reported before leaving Mexico. Failure to do so may result in denial.
Follow Instructions
Tips for when the adjuster arrives at the accident:
- Have your policy, vehicle registration, and driver’s license ready for the adjuster.
- Retain copies of the adjuster’s accident report and any police reports.
